These terms apply when you book a class, a private session or the 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Santhi School of Yoga & Vedanta Studies (“the school”, “we”), and when you use this website. By paying a deposit or a fee you agree to them.
Who we are
Santhi School of Yoga & Vedanta Studies, run by Aksharanand A S

The teacher training and the deposit
The 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training runs for 28 days in Fort Kochi. The fee is €899, all-inclusive, as described on the teacher training page. A deposit of €90 holds your place on the batch you choose and is part of the fee, not an extra. The balance of €809 is paid within the first three days of the course.
Places are held in the order deposits arrive. Your place is confirmed once we have received your deposit and replied to confirm it, usually the same day.
Paying
You can pay the deposit by Wise, by bank transfer, by IMPS or NEFT within India, or by card through our payment partner where offered. Card payments are processed by that partner, and the school never sees or stores your card details. Any fee charged by your bank or payment service is yours to pay, so that the full amount reaches the school.
Cancellations and refunds
How deposits move, and when they are refunded, is set out in our refund and cancellation policy.
Your health
Yoga is physical. Tell us before the course about any injury, illness, pregnancy or condition that could affect your practice, and practise within your own limits. Our teachers give hands-on adjustments; tell your teacher at any time if you would rather not be adjusted. Please take out travel and health insurance that covers your stay in India.
The certificate
Students who complete the course, including its assessment, receive the school’s own 200-hour certificate. The school is not a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School, and the certificate is not a Yoga Alliance credential.
Conduct
We ask every student to respect the teachers, fellow students and the house rules of the school and the accommodation. We may ask a student whose behaviour endangers or seriously disturbs others to leave the course.
Changes by the school
If we have to cancel or move a batch, we will tell you as early as we can, and you can move to another batch or have your deposit refunded in full. We are not responsible for flights, visas or other travel costs, so we recommend booking flexible travel.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Kochi, Kerala, have jurisdiction.
