We keep the deposit small on purpose. You see the school, meet your teacher and sleep a few nights in Fort Kochi before you pay the balance. Trust should run both ways.

How much is the deposit?

€90, which is 10% of the €899 fee. It holds your place on the batch you choose, and it is part of the fee, not an extra.

When is the balance due?

Within the first three days of the course. Every 2027 batch starts on the 1st of the month, so the balance of €809 is due by the 3rd: by 3 January for the January batch, 3 February for February, and so on. You can pay it through Wise or by bank transfer again, or ask Achu about other ways to pay.

How do I pay the deposit?

Step 3 shows the school’s Federal Bank account in India: account name, account number, IFSC and SWIFT. With Wise, choose Send, enter €90, pick Indian rupees for the school to receive and add the school as a new recipient with those details. If Wise asks for an invoice number, paste the reference from step 3, which carries your batch and your name. Wise converts from your own currency at the real exchange rate.

Would rather use your own bank? Use the same account with its SWIFT code and the same reference. International transfers can lose a fee on the way, so please choose the option where you pay the bank charges, and the full €90 arrives.

How do I know my place is confirmed?

Once you have paid, send the confirmation in step 4. Achu checks the payment and replies personally, usually the same day, to confirm your place and your dates.

What if the batch is full when my deposit arrives?

Places are held in the order deposits arrive. If your batch has filled by the time yours lands, Achu tells you straight away, and you can move to another 2027 batch or have the deposit returned in full.

Can I change my batch later?

Plans change. Message Achu as early as you can, and your deposit can move with you to another 2027 batch that still has places.

Is the training Yoga Alliance certified?

No. Santhi is not a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School, and we would rather say so before you pay anything. Graduates receive the school’s own 200-hour certificate. If you need Yoga Alliance registration, choose a registered course. About the training

Do I need to be an advanced practitioner?

No. You do not need to be flexible or able to do advanced postures. What helps most is a steady daily practice for a few weeks before you arrive. How to prepare
